Additional Information:

Unique Features: This is a variety of Paper birch originated in North Dakota as natural seedling growing in the western part of the state and is more stress resistant as well as being more resistant to the bronze birch borer than the species.  It will still do better with a northern or eastern exposure and will need winter watering.  Usually birches are grown as lower branched but can support higher canopies which will highlight the white bark.  This Birch can function as a single specimen tree in the landscape or be planted in groups or clumps.
