Unique Features: The Adirondack Crab grows into a narrow vase shape, with medium green foliage. In the spring, large single white fragrant flowers open from carmine red buds. It is one of the heaviest blooming crabapples. The flowers appear at about the same time the green leaves are emerging. When it flowers, the Adirondack produces ½’’ diameter bright red fruit that the birds will relish. The fruit is just as prolific as the flowers, giving the tree a reddish color in the fall and early winter. The fruit hangs onto the tree well into winter providing, some color and food for overwintering birds. It has excellent resistance to all of the major crabapple diseases. All Crabapples are approved by the Town of Parker.
