Malus ‘JFS KW139MX’
Pink
Red, Orange
Unique Features: The Ruby Dayze grows moderately into an upright, tightly oval form. The foliage emerges purple-red and matures to a bronze-green in late summer, followed by an orange-red fall color. The spring flowers are a bright magenta pink, covering most of the tree. The tiny ¼” fruit is deep red and persists into winter. The Ruby Dayze has excellent disease resistance to all of the major crab apple diseases. Consider framing the Ruby Dayze with a couple of the small white flowering crabs such as Lollipop or Sargent Tina. All crabapples are on the Town of Parker Preferred Species list.
